"You will not be disappointed with the quality of seafood at this place. We lucked out and did not have to wait for a table, but be prepared to wait a long time. Our server, Matt, was fantastic super friendly and attentive! The market prices of the fresh fish are not listed, so ask your server prior to ordering so there is no surprise. They have some of the best happy hour specials also. Large kid’s menu selection also! We had the mahi mahi and tilefish and both were cooked to perfection. The inside is very unique and sits right on the water. We will definitely be returning!!"

Ordered grouper dinner. Grouper was rubbery, green beans served with meal were undercooked and crunchy. $35 for the grouper, chef’s rice green beans overpriced. Key lime pie was outstanding at $6.95. Restaurant was packed on a weeknight, waited 35 mins. for a table.

We have come here on vacation for the last several years and never have been disappointed. We started out a little rocky with our server but in his defense I think he may have been new. We asked twice for silverware and napkins until we stole them off the table next to us. Waited a long time for our drinks. But the whole situation improved after that. Our salmon was incredible. Service was more attentive and we left pleased.

June 15- Party of 3 went to have an early dinner at 4 . The place was almost empty. We waited for our waiter/waitress to acknowledge us and take drink orders for 20 min and despite taking care of the 2 tables around us , we were ignored. We left because my kid was hungry and thirsty and was just awkward to stay there and be ignored. Maybe the food is good- we were ready to order all drinks/ dinner/ deserts — well I guess other places will not mind getting out money.

"This place is open all-night, unlike most all of the other breakfast joints that open at 6am and close at 2pm. When we arrived at 4am, Sat night/Sun morning, the entire restaurant was empty, except for a table of police officers taking a coffee break. Normally, an empty restaurant is taken by me as a sign to avoid the place, but at 4am, the choices were few. The décor is very nice, clean, typical of other such venues in the area. We both ordered steak & eggs. I also had biscuits and gravy on the side. The food was decent/average … except for the steak which we both thought was a tasteless sub-par cut of meat. Prices were fair, in line with other such venues are asking. Service was attentive, but being the only diners in the whole restaurant, it's not really a good measure of what to expect during normal hours. In the middle of the night, yes I would return, but I wouldn't order the steak again. During the morning hours, I would choose Southern Sunrise Pancake House instead. NOTE: Apparently the original Plantation Pancake House moved to 1003 Highway 17 North, Surfside Beach. This location, at 2001 Highway 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, is just across the street from Dino's House of Pancakes. My credit card receipt actually READS Dino's House of Pancakes, so I am guessing that Dino's bought this location when Plantation moved up the road."
