"I was so excited when my hometown finally got a good Japanese restaurant option. I am a big fan of sushi and have the unlimited possibilities to live in Chicagoland. When I visit my hometown, which is quite often these days, I am glad that I can get a decent sushi dinner or lunch for reasonable prices. The staff is always super friendly, especially Colleen, and it is easy to place a pickup order that I placed MANY and it was always 100% accurate. The prices are fair for a small place Sushi. Eat here all the time, we absolutely love this place. We have tried so many things and they were all good if you wish a great experience, share the Grandmakase with a friend and let the chef surprise you with a magical food trip. He made us an appetizer who had Pringles as a base, and it bleeded our thoughts of having Sushi on Pringles. The ambience inside is very cool, dimly illuminated with purple and green and usually some fun watching on the screens

I ordered the Sushi and Sashimi combo. It was supposed to come soup and salad. For 28 dollars I wanted the soup and salad. The told me 30 minutes. I got there in 35 minutes. I was told told leave and come back in 20 minutes. When I got back the lady told me no more soup and salad. I was given the option to have a can of soda. I told them I wanted food. The answer was no. I said I don't want a drink what else can I have. I was told no other options. So rude. I left without trying the food. Lame.

This place is fantastic! I was here for lunch and dinner, and both times I was completely satisfied. Living in northern Ontario, there is nothing other than acceptable sushi. Here it is actually very good, and not only the taste, but also the presentation. The restaurant itself is also very beautiful inside. Other then extremely high endpoints, the quality is quite comparable to most other sushi sites I have eaten in the big cities in North America. I would never have expected it to be so good, so lunch first back to dinner, but I would like to come back to eat the 1 hour and cross and international border.
