"Oldie Goodie!. Been going here since the later 80's. My parents even went here back in the 60s! I find there is something wonderful to be said for ANY establishment to still be existent after all these years! While wood wear, buildings settle, one thing remains the same .... quality and customer service! During all these years, I've never ever had a bad meal, and it's nice that you can wear jeans and sneakers or dress and tie and fit right in. This is always going to be a Buffalo favorite and very special place to me!"

Gabriels has the best French Onion soup in the city , always consistently rich and flavorful . For chicken wing hounds....so far the best ! Forget Anchor Bar! I have been going here for 20 years hasn't changed a bit...including the menu...stick to the onion soup and wings.

I still love this place.... I grew up less than a mile from Gabriel's Gate. I've always liked this place, and I contend that their chicken wings are still amongst the very best in our area. I recently had the pleasure of introducing some really good friends to Gabriel's Gate. They were really impressed. The menu, the food, the beer selection, the service, and the fireside table in the beautiful, old Allentown building..... all wonderful!
