they knew that bruchsal europa's largest market place for spargel (white spargel?) is a couple. the baeren is the place to come at least once a year at the beginning of the asparagus season (probably ende april). it serves the finest German food to very moderate trips in a family and family atmosphere. in bruchsal it is probably the best restaurant, and we are in recent years dozens of paints here. it was always very good.

we starved on Saturday afternoon. this is often not good in Germany. this time our luck could not have been better. the gasthof to bear was open and serves an interesting menu with a good selection of wild game. there was a word on the menu I didn't recognize. it was the local dialect for rabbits.
