"i have scoured the greater Fairfax County area over the past 4 months in search of the best Cheesesteak Sub. I can confidently say, I have found it at Georges Steak n Things. I rate my Cheesesteak Subs in 4 areas:Presentation: See picture below. this place is your classic, no frills shop. also its a cheesesteak, so no reason to fancy it up too much. it looks like a cheesesteak. nice crispy toasted bread with ample fillings. 5/5Next is Taste: for this order i had the Cajun Chicken version. Cajun added a touch that just set this sub apart from your traditional cheesesteak without going overboard. additional ingredients were good. would have preferred a better tomato, but that 's just nit pick...

had the 12in steak cheese and it was good. some places shy to put too much steak, but not georges. I had a lot of steak. that makes a good steak and cheese.

Im a very picky person to say the least. The steak and cheese and waffles fries were great. It’s hard to find a good steak and cheese these days. No complaints.

Gawd, it’s been a million since I’ve had a good steak n cheese. Meat chopped fine so you get a delicious mix of meat and melty-melty cheese. But the gyro is insane. Pillowy pita, real meat, delicious sauce ….. with the really crunchy fries that stay crisp even when it starts to get cold?Really need to change the name to Magic George’s.
