"I've been to many Indian restaurants in my time, but I can honestly say that the biryani at Gareeb Nawaz in Lombard Roosevelt Rd, is the best I've ever had. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the meat is so tender and flavorful. Mirchi ka salan Khichdi Kheema and Chicken 65 is the authentic Hyderabadi taste. I can tell that the cook puts a lot of love and care into each dish, and it really shows.I've tried both the chicken and lamb biryani, and they're both equally delicious. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the lamb is fall-off-the-bone tender. Solid potato samosas at an unbeatable price. I was able to order 24 of them on a Sunday night over the phone and they were ready within 25 min. I wish chutney was included by default, but I should've remembered to ask before departing the location.
