"first time to Galena, Gobbie 's will be the Reason for the Return, Everything about it Enjoyable friendly knowledgeable staff even when they were all doing zoomies to stay up with their busy crowd, a close friend and myself went on a road trip in memory of some friends of ours that have passed, yesterday, so when Galena came into our radar, I said sure why not, for a Wednesday I was not expecting the business (tourist) district to be jam packed with people we got into town around 2:30 after a horrible experience in Dubuque IA, so I was ready for a beer stopped in I was amazed how busy the place was, outdoor deck packed as well, looking at the food on the tables I already knew we were coming...

Styrofoam plates WTH?! , cheap silverware, dirty scratched up chipped salad bowls— this place is generally tacky and not very good. The Italian beef was dry. The au ju also served in styrofoam ?! . The fries were soggy. The “sourdough” bites were not sourdough— they were flavorless. The waitress brought us our styrofoam plates after our food arrived in a stack for us to sort out. She gave me the bill when my date paid— The music mix was awesome. Everything else was subpar.
