"We were staying in this Munich suburb (Marriott and looking for somewhere local to eat. This was a very good choice. We booked quite late but they fitted us in to a restaurant that was family run and evidently quite a local customer base. However within minutes of sitting and ordering pre dinner drinks, we were made to feel very welcome. Food was good, large portions, homely and very reasonably priced. We ended meal with the traditional 'free grappa ' so we must have fitted in :"

They received us very late, 2 minutes before closing. We were able to order only vitelo tonato, lasagne, carbonara and tiramisu. But the food and the beer were very good. Will eat again there anytime.

We ordered the lamb steak/chops, Spaghetti Carbonara and another Pasta dish . The service was exemplary, and the food simply amazing. It was easily the best Carbonara I had in my life. The whole experience was great. I would definitely go again if I were to visit Munich again.

Myself and the son happened in here on the way to dropping him off with his summer course, so with a view to getting him a good feed beforehand on my part and Grissini e Vini did not disappoint. He had the Penne Arabiata and I had the Tomato+Onion salad and the Minestrone soup. His Arabiata sauce was very nice and my salad was topped off with sprigs of mint.
