We also were there at the tail end of happy hour so decided to start with the fried Mac n cheese which had a tasty breading. We also split the tater tot nachos (not on happy hour menu) which I wasn't a fan of. They are house made I believe where the tot is more of a mashed potato formed into a cube and breaded. Wonderful vibe for a Southern Food experience! Pool table, whiskey bar and attached jazz club. Food is good but to healthy to be on the great side. Guess low fat can mean lower flavor

this is our first visit to san francisco and this restaurant was highly recommended to us while we visited the raiders football game as a place we need to try. the ambiente, vibe, decor and personal was fabulous! the food was extraordinary and drinks were great! they made me a believer in grotten. I never liked her. I ordered the ochs and savour wow! my man ordered the black garnels. we strongly recommend and strongly recommend all to try hazel southern bar and kitchen! this was undoubtedly the best to eat and the entire culinary experience of our SF holiday. we can't wait to come back!
