"I was surprised to find a modern, chic place in Reno. We stayed in the Whitney Peak Hotel where this place is and had breakfast which was terrific. Another night we had dinner, which was just OK. While the service is great (slow for this NY 'er but that 's typical), the food is not seasoned that great. My squash soup tasted like blended squash and that 's it. The crab pasta salad was ok. Plenty of crab with a nice, spicy kick but it wasn 't tasty. My husband got the whole trout and it was fishy. The food was NOT bad, but it was just fine. Again, breakfast was great!"
