"LONG BUT READ BEFORE SPENDING HERE! The place is nice and clean and food is good but the owner and staff totally rude. We just had a retirement party for my girlfriends mother and hands down it was the worst experience! the owner and his staff were totally disrespectful and always seemed inconvenienced with small requests! Like asking for a knife to cut the cake we brought or ice for water. we rented the room from 1pm to 5pm and by 430pm benny and the staff were cleaning around us and setting up for the next event, chairs up on tables, aggressively cleaning the table we were sitting at and all....By that time the waitstaff lady told the rest of the party that was left you all need to leave...

Absolutely wonderful food, atmosphere and staff! Very busy afternoon with only 2 waitresses, they let us know immediately…service was still great. The calamari breading was perfect, not overly loaded with garlic and not overcooked. We will definitely be back.

Waited 15 minutes at a table in the bar without any acknowledgement, never mind a menu or drink order. Had to see if the rumors about service were true. Good luck to the older couple sitting fully turned towards the bar trying to pay their bill all this time.

Returned to Hilltop with my family after several years away, and was blown away. VERY good food in a really nice outdoor patio where we could watch the sunset. Even the umbrellas over the tables are oversized so you can stay through the rain. We plan to go back often.
