"I just had a dinner in my favorite Indian restaurant in the world. If I lived in Munich, I would eat here once a week. But as it is, I only get to enjoy this excellent restaurant 2 or 3 times a year during business trips. Ordered the Tandoori Grill with monks, giant prawn and a piece of chicken. I was hesitant to order fish in an Indian restaurant on a Tuesday with not a large number of guests, but my fear was completely unfounded. The fish had an incredible texture, didn't taste at all, the huge shrimps here are always unbelievable in texture and taste, and the chicken they know how to do it remains tender (sometimes I can't find out how to do at home: . I recommend it very, but be willing...

Everything here was great, but it was quite expensive, it was worth the price. The only thing I missed was to order a stronger sauce for dinner. But with a friendly owner and staff, I found this restaurant a great place to look back.

We visited this facility several times in recent years. Overall, the food is at the same level as in other Indian restaurants in the Munich region: standard Indian cuisine. However, prices are slightly higher, and it seems that their shares are smaller each year. The ambience is not very welcoming, either Jaipur is located in the basement of another popular restaurant in Grünwald. In winter some can find the cellar cozy, but in a nice day nobody would want to sit in the dark in the cellar. Also caution: explicit Kamasutra pictures on the walls. All in all, you can make much better for money in other Indian Asian restaurants in Grünwald Munich: food and ambience alike. I don't recommend Jaipu...

"The ambience is very nice, the service is very good and friendly, which must also be somehow at prices. One is brought to his table and all wear uniform clothes (where I wonder if one could not sort knee stockings with holes in the belly... The map is very extensive and everything is really expensive. Sushi card is available on request. You will be asked if you want a bottle of water (which you get, costs 7.90€ so possibly denied and order the other water on the map We had the bread basket with Dips as "Avocado and a red spicy DIp, both was good, but the croupuk was not fresh the bread hard and there was exactly one piece of Pappadam, which I also did not find justified for 5€ and the reputation of the mangostin. In addition, we had a duck salad with mango, for almost 18€ as an appetizer, which really was very tasty!!! and a spirited coconut soup, for almost 10€, which was interesting in a bowl with ice cream, but tasted after cold-foamed coconut milk, so I was no longer good after that. When the main dish I had Teryaki duck, the duck was unfortunately not crispy at all and lay on mushrooms and spring onion (6 slices duck! for 25 € My husband had beef from wok at the same price, that was probably quite good. There was also rice on request. My conclusion, for good Asian food, you don't have to go to the mangostin. The evening cost over 100€ and we waited 30 minutes for the SChluss until our service came back so we could ask for the bill. It tastes better in normal Asian restaurants! Too bad"
