"After I was here almost every weekend for the last few months, I have to say that the food NIE is consistent. Always hit or miss. I wanted to love this place so bad, because it is the only restaurant of its kind here and it offers healthy, tasteful food. Consistency is a problem. The chicken was apparently reheated or old, the sauce for brown stuffing is watered down and does not last well so that it leaves the chicken dry unless you spoon the sauce up before eating. The chicken is either perfectly cooked or overcooked, depending on the day and time you go. Rice is either muddy, old or just right. Cabbage and carrot either cooked or raw. I did not expect much of Mac and cheese from a Jamaic...

Food is overpriced and don?t get what you paid for. Macaroni tasted like it was boiled and layered with cheese, no seasoning at all. Definitely doesn?t taste like authentic Jamaican food.

One of my fav restaurants in Clayton! I and my fiancées love to go here and the food is always amazing! We love the Ruck Chicken and Calliloo Rice! Fiancés favs are the Plantains and the Veggie/Beef Patty?s! All right!

Very authentic and delicious Caribbean cuisine, lots of Curry Goat Gravy on rice and peas, cabbage is from this world, Plantains sweet and good.... Customer service and hospitality.... Very recommended....best on the side parking lot to park...
