"We arrived right at 11:30 when they opened. The restaurant was prepped, the servers were in their uniforms, and I didn’t see a single server on their phones. Very professional. The waitress was very pleasant and formal. They gave us the price of the specials when they said them, which was nice to know. My parents both had the fish and chips special. “It was amazing! The best haddock I’ve ever had with fish and chips!” The fish was super nice and flaky, and the breading was thin and crispy so you could taste the fish through the breading (not a fishy taste though, good fish taste). The breading wasn’t soaking in oil, and didn’t feel greasy to the touch. The fries were also nice and crispy, although there was one ice cold fry on my mother’s plate which was surprising. The rest of them were scalding hot and fresh from the fryer though, so the cold fry was acceptable haha. I had the mac and cheese, plain, with the breadcrumbs on top. The menu only lists vegetable, chicken, or one other mac and cheese option, but the waitress informed me that I could have it without. It was great, there wasn’t quite enough of the cheese but I’m just being picky. It was delicious and filling."

"From 7/27/2020 The lobby is open only for ordered orders via the DD app. Your passage is open as normal. We used the app and picked up our order from the small door / room in front of the lobby. Everything was contactless, clean and completely accurate in terms of our order that had special requests. The staff was friendly and you even stopped checking if we had received our order as we wanted. They had a huge thing of and sanitizer and tons of napkins available right next to their pick-up station. Great place and conveniently located next to a launderette."

"My fiance and I tried this spot last night and it did not disappoint. We had a good range from the menu and everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I savored the vegetable beef barley crock as my starter with a warm crusty roll and he got 2 jumbo shrimp in his cocktail. We shared the stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were hot, juicy, and one could tell ingredients immediately. Definitely a rich, decadent option and I could only enjoy one. Dinner was a garden salad with steak (his) and a flat iron market price cooked to medium well (mine). Sides chosen were baked potato and steamed broccoli. I swiped one of his sides of blue cheese and though the steak did not need anything extra, I dipped every other piece in the tangy dressing. Heavenly. Yes, it is pricey, but everything shows perfection and joy in their craft by the kitchen. Our waitress was knowledgeable and personable. She was lovely and checked in often. We immensely enjoyed our weekend evening out and already have the Steakhouse on our list to do again."

"Kate and Pete have this touch... they opened another amazing restaurant. The staff is super friendly. Even if they opened their first night, the staff was quiet, organized and on everything! Hats to the chefs! Everything was amazing and the crab cakes are still my favorite! You have a wide selection of wine, beer and cocktails We will definitely go back!"
