"After the former owner of the restaurant “Zum Junge Griechen” took over the castle Filseck in Uhingen, and the subsequent owner change, the Eislinger restaurant should now rather be called “Zum Junge Syrer” (if I am properly informed). The name was retained, however, only in the menu the name of the old owner was overcrowded – for example, it is not hot anymore “healthy from Milos” kitchen” but “health from the kitchen”. After the menu with its stable cover and its elaborate graphic design makes a quite good impression, the new owner probably wanted to save the cost of a new print. But that's quite cheap. Also, the new owner has not taken over the previous website, instead this domain is now obviously for sale. Ambience: The restaurant is located in the Eislinger city centre, right on the former B10. Since a few years ago the road around Eislingen has been completed, the traffic on the former federal road has decreased at least to such an extent that one can sit outside in a tolerable noise scene. Since it was a beautiful and warm early summer evening, we also let ourselves share a little bit outdoors. The outdoor area would certainly not win a prize in a competition for beauty and cosiness – on the one hand the house wall, on the other hand a stone wall towards the street, in between two table rows. There was no place left for a little green. Not even the wall was visually sprinkled with a few flower boxes, although it would offer itself. The interior is, slightly surprising, decorated with pictures and motifs from Greece. Unfortunately, the seating is quite cramped, the optimum was brought out at seats. A sense of cosiness does not really want to set itself up with a full restaurant. And the latter is quite often the case as this place is quite well frequented. Also during the week it is recommended to book in the evening. Food and drink: On the map are the usual Greek dishes with Gyros, Souvlaki, several lamb and fish dishes. The restaurant also offers some combinations of meat and fish or seafood. For such a thing, I decided to have Gyros with grilled Kalamari. As an appetizer I chose filled mushrooms baked with cheese. My wife chose Feta Saganaki, as well as a dessert of a Greek yogurt. Prices: Calamari meets Gyros: Squid, combined with Gyros. Add to this Greek roast potatoes and a mixed salad (market salad): 12,90 EUR Saganaki: sheep cheese panned in homemade bread, with Greek roast potatoes and a Greek mixed salad (market salad): 9,90 Euro Grilled mushrooms: filled with minced meat and served with cheese: 5,20 Euros yoghurt Very tasty, and made an appetite for the following. Next came the grilled champignons: a total of seven medium-sized champignons garnished with some green salad on a plate. Also some slices of white bread (baguette). The minced meat filling was well seasoned, and the preparation time was chosen precisely correctly, so that the mushrooms and the cheese were slightly tanned but not carburized. After a short waiting period we then got our supplement salad: green leaf salad, cucumber, herb salad, an olive and a mild peperoni. The salad was delicious with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. However, the sheet salad was already clearly brown at the breaking points. I left this one on my plate, and drew attention to it. My assessment that the salad should be a little older, but again it spoke. It is quite fresh, the brown discoloration would only be from vinegar, since it has been made for some time. Apart from the fact that “fresh” and “offered for some time” represent a classic contradiction for me, according to my experience a green salad made soft and inedible first before the vinegar turns brown discoloration. But I saved this discussion with the service. Our main courts, however, did not make any criticism. The Gyros was beautifully cracked and well seasoned. Almost better, however, the grilled Calamari has tasted me as a whole tube. The marinade, in which these were placed, had a pleasant sharpness and hit my taste. The Tzatziki was fine, for my taste it would have tolerated a little more garlic. The Greek roast potatoes were right: not too bleached and not too dark but crispy brown. My wife was also very happy with the Saganaki. She had more to fight with the crowd, the four slices were almost too much for her. Finally, you needed some space for the Greek yogurt as a dessert. This deptched as a proper portion, for the eye very beautiful honey, finely chopped nuts and some berries. And as delicious as he looked, he also tasted. Service: We had pre-reserved, and at the same time were assigned our outdoor places. Little later, the menus were also taken and we were handed over. The ordering and waiting times for the drinks as well as the dishes were optimal. The friendly service also came over regularly to find out if something would be missing. There was another ouzo at the expense of the house. Cleanliness: No criticism, everything worked very clean and well maintained. Also the sanitary facilities. Conclusion: Except for the salad with the already brown rupture sites, everything was to our fullest satisfaction – good food, friendly and quick service, pleasant prices. Only the ambience and could be a little more friendly."

"“Zum Bäumle” is a Greek restaurant on the driveway in the centre of Sweetens. However, since a few years ago the B10 bypass road around sweets has been completed, transit traffic has drastically decreased. It is therefore also possible to sit on the covered terrace untrusted and must not be feared that his own word will no longer be understood due to poor loaders. In addition, the owners have significantly expanded the outdoor area lately and also visually upgraded so that my wife and I decided to visit this place at pleasant evening temperatures. Most tables in the outdoor area were already occupied on our arrival, but there was still a free place for both of us. The service was immediately at the place to give us the menus. There are the usual Greek dishes as well as a page of German dishes, nothing unusual. Since I couldn't decide correctly, I asked the service for a recommendation. In this case, the operation often stutters something like “with us everything is recommended”, but in this case it is not pleasing. From the two recommendations, I chose the “Santorini cellar” consisting of Gyros, Lammkotelett and Calamari. As a supplement rice and tzatziki. As an appetizer, I chose crabs from the pan in tomato sauce. My wife did not need the help of the service, she chose a gyro with Greek roast potatoes and Tzatziki, and as a dessert Greek yogurt with honey. Prices: “Santorini-Teller” (Gyros, lamb chop, Calamari, rice and Tzatziki : 13.90 EUR Gyros with roasted potatoes and Tzatziki: 10.40 EUR Garidakia (rabbs in tomato sauce : 7.60 EUR Greek yoghurt with honey: 4.60 EUR Still water, 0.75 l: 3.40 EUR yeast Both my wife and me tasted the dishes we chose. Especially, however, the lamb chop came to me, this was wonderfully tender. Unfortunately there was only one on the plate. When I praised the lamb chop when I was clearing and expressed regret that only one was present, he said that there was certainly something to be done during the next visit. The Calamari was also very good: very picantly seasoned and deliciously baked. My wife loves Greek yogurt, but the portion was so great that they could not create it with the best will, and there was also something left. Above all, it was not saved with honey – much should not have missed half a pound. At the end there was an ouzo at the expense of the house, the I-Tüpfelchen on a successful dinner. Conclusion: the economy “Zum Bäumle” does not offer exceptional creations, but the typical Greek dishes in Germany. However, the bid is very excellent, and prices are pleasantly favourable. The economy makes a well-kept impression, in particular the outdoor area has been very friendly and expanded in recent years. The service is friendly and in combination with the kitchen fix. Nevertheless, here the only real point of criticism: the lady who serves us (Chefin? was something too talkative to my wife. Above all, she was extremely polite to the guests, but to her colleagues she had a very snippy, even insulting sound."
