"A vey nice, quaint hotel with many original features. In an old creaky building but that it part of the charm. Superb breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Room has all amenities you need but no aircon. That is no surprise though as there does not seem to be any hotels in this town that offer aircon. The wifi is not very good and patchy around the hotel, that is the only real minor fault. This hotel is within the town walls in an excellent position to walk out and enjoy this charming place."

Awesome -traditional German fare in a wonderful setting. The strew & bread dumpling was delicious, as was the breaded pork snitzal. Dubious. Great for kids.

We stopped in here as it was identified as #11 in the city. We found the food pretty overcooked and bland. The sauces seemed to be little more than cornstarch and broth. Nothing special. The meat dishes we ordered all seemed to be overcooked and dry. Again, maybe it was just not a good night.
