"eating is okay. there are better places in cotulla than these. the waitress gives really bad service!. They can see how they eat and talk all the time I was there. while waiting for simple tortilla orders. that took over for 15 minutes when my eating was already cold. give them a certain lunchtime or break time. so they can give the customer attention"

"Ate here for the first time wile in Cotulla, Tx for work. Great experience!! Our waitress Mina(hope I spelled it right) was amazing and took great care of us. She made sure we were good through the entire meal and answered any questions we had. She was super friendly. If she is working when you go here ask for her. You won't regret it. Now for the food.....my entire group ordered appetizers. They were all very tasty and came relatively quick about 7-8 minutes) since the place was very busy on a Friday night. I highly recommend the fried pickles, fried mushrooms, and the Diablo poppers. We all ordered steaks as our main. It Comes with 2 side. I had onion rings and a vegetable mix that was so yummy. We all ordered Medium rare and the steaks were cooked perfectly and very well season. I hardly ever eat a whole steak but I just couldn't stop myself..lol. The prices are reasonable and steaks are market price. I highly recommend this place. If you are in the area."

"I don’t mind the wait, I understand it can get busy. But I just got my food. I opened my box of fries to tear apart for the baby to eat. He was getting fussy in the car. Come to see the fries are old fries. And they were stuck together in a ball. Once I started spreading them apart. There was 2 hair strands. I know it wasn’t mine because I just drove off from there. And opened the box at the light. Gross."

"Archie's was a great experience. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff. But the real money maker is the burger. Burger a seasoned beautifully and tastes delicious Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20"

"Country Store is getting back up to speed on their menu offerings; FINALLY are cooking more fresh meats Instead of frozen Sysco Fare!Brisket was fork tender and savory as it should be! Great refried bean tacos! Flautas have gone back to home made!! Hamburger was perfect! New fries were piping hot (though still of frozen variety, but tasty none the less). The carne guisada taco was good seasoning and super tender meat. ~Don’t bother getting the pecan pie. The crust was awful with only a slight layer of pecans on top of pie filling! The service is on and off. They are training a couple of young girls who still don’t get how to juggle everything. We waited an hour for our food. Plan accordingly. Because some servers can be pretty gruff, you gotta want the food, I guess…But at least the food has improved!!!I sure hope they can keep these cooks!!"
