"Well Worth the Visit. My husband and I had dinner at Laskara;s last Saturday evening. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is nicely decorated and we were greeted warmly by the hostess. We had called ahead to see if we needed reservations because the website encouraged them, but were told to just come down. Consistently money!. A laid back space where hipsters sit side by side with middle aged locals and everyone just says 'yum '. the cocktails are fab [go for the espresso martinis] . Sit by the fireplace in the winter and a booth the rest of the year. Every meal starts with a generous communal bowl of salad. but the best part is usually a special. my fave is the seabass over mashed potatoes. also great is the salmon and anything veal.

Our experience at Laskara has always been fantastic. We have been loyal customers for many years, even dating back to when my parents used to bring me here. Now, I am able to pass on this wonderful experience to my own children. Maria and her team are incredibly friendly and hospitable, making you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. The food is consistently excellent, especially the shrimp and swordfish special which we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend visiting Laskara for a memorable dining experience.
