"Started out the day late and was dead set on a steamy bowl of menudo. Everything was closed being New Year 's day. So I did plan B. I caught this little dive restaurant out of the corner of my eye driving back home and decided to give it a try. The place serves both Mexican and Salvadoran food. Guess what? They had menudo but the pupusas won me over . I ate two pupusas immediately. Both were made with pork meat and cheese and they were damn good: thick, hot, chewy and jammed with meat and melted cheese and two types of sauces. I 'm sitting here now sucking on my teeth after eating both them...lips and tongue still covered in a little sauce. A nice hot, spicy after taste and a happy stomach!...
