"large local on the promenade with good selection. the burgers were good (no finished meat), the salat very large, for that the prices are also neat. the small playground is great when you are there with children. the waiter, however, was quite muffley in the meantime, he was quite right to know that he had to distribute the food before he had again an ohr for others. with a lot of operation, some service personnel would be more helpful, already helpful."

"our first visit here.Despite the start of the holiday in nrw (juister big fight days) we have received a nice table and a very nice service. we would be very friendly at our table. our orders came promptly and hot on the table. the service remained - although this was locally filled to the last place - always friendly and sympathetic. this may also have been located on the professional-waking eye of the operating manager/inhaber. but that is what it should be. no high art, rather "easy"

"In mid-September we stayed at Velero at Juist for dinner. The place is located on the dune and is therefore a beach café from the location and decor. The device has a vintage character, but not without touch. There is no menu, the guest must choose from a large, centrally hanging table. This is more annoying, but the food served is fully compensated and can be the best of the island. The dishes are very tasty, elaborately decorated, and the amount is also ok. The seawolf was very juicy, the risotto very tasty, the sauces / suits very innovative. And all this at very acceptable prices. Only drawback: a reservation one/two days before is very advisable."

"a hotel restaurant with great tradition, gentle and very stylish modernized, despite the size with approx. 200 places cozy niches, many windows with views to the curb, but right where and how to sit, you feel well removed. extraordinarily friendly and efficient care, the chef of the house always with in the service and everyone with a nice word for the guest, whether hotel or external. the quality of the feeds is in a balanced ratio at the price (b freshly fried scholle with decomposed butter, kartoffeln and free choice of the huge salatbuffet €16.50). my favorite restaurant on juist."
