"I distinctly remember having dined in this space before as it offered Korean bento boxes in a previous incarnation. The Oakland themed murals on the walls, in fact, looked really, really familiar, as if they were left over from the previous tenant. These days, this venue is called Los Kinjas and is apparently a new incarnation of a similarly named sushi shop that used to be directly across the street. Our favorite sushi firefighter is our fav with a great mix of flavors, textures and some spice. Glad they opened up this to go shop across the street from the old Kinja restaurant. Would love the main place to come back at some point but this place is great for those pickup and go nights.
