"We were at the Gaslamp for the Paul McCartney concert at Petco Park. We booked last minute at Machu Picchu. Although it was obvious that they were overwhelmed by the concert of the early crowd, they offered a good service and brought us into the time for the concert. The food was excellent (beef stew! . And the overall price was great, especially considering that we had 7 of us in the last minute. We will definitely go back, though perhaps not in a concert night or if we are on time."

We didn't eat here, but the drinks and the service were amazing. Great to enjoy good pisco sour and Peruvian so (Inca Cola) here.

The food was alright and the service poor. It took 40 min to cook the food, and once it was brought out the server didn't check in with us for another hour (not to mention we were the only people in the restaurant). The food was alright, but the steak was tough and the sauce oversalted. If I were you I would go to the place next door.

I really appreciate the atmosphere of this restaurant. The barman was very polite and nice, also the waitress very friendly. You have a few local beers like PACIFICO and great Peruvian dishes. I loved the sauce and enjoyed rice with shrimps. I would also recommend her cocktails. There are a few seats outside and many seats inside. People usually come here as groups, although it is a pleasant and beautiful place to eat alone. I had no deserts and I'm sure it's something here.
