"food drinks are always so good, but the service is very hit or miss. tonight, our food took an hour to come out. 2 tables that came after we’re done eating and gone by the time ours came. our waitress said “i’m not sure why it’s taking so long”. when it came time to pay, she brought checks and never came back for 15 minutes. we figured it’d be quicker to get cash from the ATM and leave Price per person: $10–20"

"We're going through Brookings on the way to Mount Rushmore. Holiday is rough to the coffee goes, I am a coffee snob that also hates corporate coffee companies. I always have to drink coffee or break down and go to Starbucks and feel bad if I don't shop on site. But Cottonwood Coffee Shop in downtown Brookings, SD has saved the day today. It is locally owned and the owner roasts his own beans!!! I have a big red eye, it's great! The galle that worked the counter went only to the most beautiful person I met early in the morning, and the service was excellent! Not sure if I'm back in this town, but I'm just gonna get coffee here when I'm in Brookings!"

"I'm from South Carolina and traveled to Brookings in business. I found Pheasants and WOW. I had the Pheasant Lettuce Wraps and the Chops with green beans. This was absolutely amazing taste and presentation. The atmosphere and hospitality was amazing. I would like to say a special thanks to Lyssandra because I took care of myself. She was busy, but always keep her beautiful smile. Thank you."

"Enjoyed a great local beer and a good sandwich priced reasonably. I had the Reuben and my wife a burger. My wife said one of the best she has had. My son has a wrap also good."
