"After our closed to 2hr train ride from Gstaad to Montreux, our tour group came by this restaurant for our lunch break before heading to Tasch. The restaurant is huge and spacious, bright because of the window panes that provided a great scenery for diners with the lake, mountain views, the sky, clouds and there's even a windmill out there. And there's also alfresco sitting. The restaurants offered a good range of food, be it meats, burgers, spaghetti, salads, desserts, drinks etc. Prices were reasonable by Swiss standard. Poor service Dirty tables Too noisy Outside the door full of ice, very dangerous to walk in. Someone should remove ice from the parking area.

Great place to enjoy meal lunch or dinner or even a break from the road stylish its design as a buffet with indoor outdoor sitting area facing lake between mountains also there is activity for kids play ground a waking near by lake, also wsten village for kids. And supermarket coop

Our tour group stopped here at this Marche Store and Restaurant for a rest stop and snacks. I learned a little about the area around it that made it more interesting than just a regular rest stop. The area is known as the Great St. Bernard Pass. The area is an ancient crossing point of the mountain and the Great St. Bernard Hospice was founded at the highest point on the road in 1049. The hospice later became famous for its use of St. Bernard dogs in rescue operations. The St. Bernard’s were bred large enough to traverse deep snow and to scent out lost persons.
