"Great takeout order yet again! This is my 3rd time here and again I'm impressed. I have to eat my dinner in my car for work so it's always difficult choosing a food. I ordered the Wurstplatte with Rinderbratwurst, Bierbratwurst mit Kase, Kasespatzle, and Sauerkraut. The presentation for a to go order was surprisingly good, and the taste was even better! Both meats were cooked perfectly and the Kasespatzle was nice and firm. The online ordering was a breeze since pronouncing german words over the phone isn't the easiest. When I got there the food was just being wrapped up and the staff was super friendly. As always, a pleasure eating here."

Max is a definite go to for great drinks and phenomenal food. Their beer selection is top notch, and everything I've tried on the menu has blown me away especially the beer and cheese sausage and the cucumber salad! If you haven't been yet, it's 100%worth it, they always come through

At least once a month we crave a pretzel and schnitzel from Max. The beer selection is perfect for the cuisine. When it's warmer, sitting outside is the best vibe. The service can sometimes tow the line between casual and aloof, but it's a local New York joint and the food is phenomenal so it works.
