"The food was amazing and the staff so friendly. The owner was there, cleaning the windows when I realized they might be closing down. I asked what time they closed, she said 3. It was 4:15. I felt so bad and apologized profusely. I've worked in the restaurant business and know how it feels to be kept late. The owner was so gracious and told me not to worry about it, that she had things to catch up on. If you're looking for good food and awesome people, this is the place for you."

My wife joined other 1962 graduates from Natchitoches High School for a 60th reunion luncheon. The service was great and the accommodations' were great for a group of about 30.

The bread pudding alone is worth visiting because of its decadent aromas, but I also love their crab cakes and their mini-meat and cancer cakes. Every time I'm in Natchitoches, this is my place to eat.

"We enjoyed our meal well. Except the chicken wasn't as crispy as usual. My mom got sick from the Koleslawin. It was kind of warm. There was a bus from High School students from Avoyelles Parish who had been the polite and good way I had ever been. The lady who cleansed up after all the students made more noise than all the children."

"Equilibrium of Tex/Mex and Authentic!. This family business has fed me and my family many meals over the years! The food and waiters are quite consistent. I have had NIE a bad experience since I was introduced here in 1990. Chicken Quesadillas are great!"

"My husband and I had a delicious meal at Maglieaux's tonight. My entree was a chicken breast stuffed with crab meat and he had Italian Sausage Cannelloni. Both were tasty and filling. The cream sauce on both was spiced perfectly. The bread pudding was to die for. The bread texture was light and the cream sauce was perfect. It was light and creamy and did not overshadow the bread. The service was fast and attentive. Our server, Shelby, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about menu items, she had a very pleasant personality, she checked on us several times during dinner to see if we needed anything and we had a nice brief conversation with her after dinner. The restaurant has an outside seating area overlooking Natchitoches's beautiful river. I highly recommend Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant."

"I've eaten here since I was a child, it always had good steak at a reasonable price. Last night, I ordered a medium. it came ultra rare purple with which I am good, but I took a bite it tasted terrible, so I asked her to cook it some more than it came back, it was a good medium rare. So I took another bite, which is when I realized that it was not that the steak was boiled under it rancid it had no doubt either in the heat or at room temperature for a very long time. I didn't make it waiter because it's not her fault. quality has fallen in recent years. but that was terrible, and I have no excuse for serving such a steak. also as a side note, the original brot is gone and they are now rolling. the brot here was also a distinguishing factor, now it is just normal rolling."

"the restaurant is probably regrouped after the reopening from the fire this year. we had reservations sitting immediately, but it took 15 minutes before a waiter approached us, not our waiter, but a waiter and asked if someone was over? it was obvious when we were right in front of the waiting station or so we thought. After our waiter came by, we ordered after three weeping, we're sorry that we out of this, I said, then they beat something they have before we always ask, and they keep the review. the waiter had to write back into the cash for a suggestion. ? a prepared waiter has a fallback fan in the category (red/white) and in a similar price range. when they are asked for an appetizer request, we're sorry to be out of date. it is 7:30 on Saturday night? remember this is a highly rated restaurant that is served during the Christmas holidays while natchitoches are running Christmas lights. how can they be from so many articles? they brought out our bisque appetizers with our salad. No, it doesn't work that way. we were there for 2 hours, which was in order when we were and visited another couple. service was just okay. Eating was good, not great. it is probably the only raised restaurant away from the city festivities. reserve them, cross their fingers. they can find out how they work through reopening."
