"What a pleasant surprise. The menu is extensive with lots of predictable dishes but they’re prepared in innovative ways. Sesame rolls are fresh rice paper stuffed with veggies and topped with prawns and flying fish roe. The peanut sauce underneath is rich and sweet. Chicken dumplings are fried and drizzled with a tangy mayo. The spinach salad is kind of a deconstructed mieng kum with shrimp and diced ginger, lime and toasted coconut. Delicious and refreshing."

Really neat Thai restaurant! Beautiful dish presentation! We particularly liked the Spicy Garlic Noodles! Some of the dishes left something to be desired. Service was good but not great, we were the only ones in the restaurant at one point and had to flag someone down because it felt like they forgot about us.

A hidden gem in Saratoga, great tasting food, in a distinctly upscale setting. No cheap boring Thai food here. Our Tom ka soup was flavorful, and big sized for the two of us. The padthai tofu come wrapped in a thin fresh omelet wrap, unique and great taste. The scallops were served on a bed of green beans, with a salad on the side. The restaurant was not crowded when we visited, the service was attentive. They also have outdoor seating.

"We 've eaten at Hong 's lots of time have generally enjoyed the experience. We decided it would be the perfect spot for a post-Star Wars Not Christmas dinner. We approached the meal with lower expectations because it was a holiday. And we were not disappointed. Okay, we were, but we 'd allowed for that mostly. Still, while we didn 't expect the usual attentiveness we experience, we were put off that other parties--one without a reservation--were served well before we even got our drinks. We had to ask for every, single part of the meal--including a wine list and to order--repeatedly. One dish--walnut honey prawns--was barely warm, and the walnuts had been replaced with pecans. The other, a sizzling beef special, was okay. The only thing that came quickly was the check. It was particularly galling when an older couple seated next to us as we were finishing were treated with exceptional care and attentiveness, the server going over every aspect of the meal and bringing their drinks and appetizers promptly. We couldn 't help but wonder if our poor service had something to do with being two women dining together. Maybe it was that we 'd moved from one side of the front dining room, where we were placed in front of a drafty door, to the other, where it turned out we were in front of an equally drafty window. Who knows? But on a particularly cold night, this chill added to an overall unsatisfying experience."
