This was my first visit to a MOD Pizza restaurant in northern California. Previously, I had been to Blaze Pizza, which offers a similar concept. My experience at MOD Pizza was enjoyable, with both the pizza and salad being very good. I appreciated being able to choose my own toppings and customize my meal.

Similar to Subway or Chipotle, this restaurant allows you to customize your own personal pizza. While you could share it with someone, the pizza is small enough that you could easily finish it on your own if you're hungry or keep it simple with minimal toppings. I typically load mine up with various cheeses, meats, and veggies. Some people may not enjoy the thin, crispy crust, but I personally enjoy the extra crunch and flavor it adds. I always get mine extra cheesy, with ranch and BBQ sauce drizzled on top after it's cooked, and the combination is absolutely delicious. You have to try it for yourself - you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is a great spot for personal-sized pizzas. I frequently order takeout from here and most of the time, the pizza is ready on time and comes with plenty of delicious toppings. However, there can be occasional long delays and inconsistency with the shape of the pizza or the amount of toppings. One downside is that there is no option to request a small amount of a topping when ordering through the app. For example, if you want just a few olives with a light drizzle of balsamic fig glaze, you might receive an overwhelming amount of olives and a completely drenched pizza.
