"Absolutely delicious. Best Chinese food I've had since leaving California. They let me get their crystal or clear spring rolls with shrimp instead of ham. They were so good. Full of cilantro and herbal flavor. Came with a delicious peanut hoisen sauce I believe. Their wonton soup was delicate. Not a lot of ingredients. Just some broth, wontons, and a couple of bok choy. But the wontons were absolutely stuffed with meat and flavor. I couldn't get enough. And it was inexpensive. I really enjoyed it. I also had their firecracker shrimp. It came out beautiful, adorned with orange slices and just looked incredibly appetizing. The ginger, garlic, and orange flavor was perfect with the fresh shrim...

Food is good with super veggie options they?re sketchy about reliability though so don?t get your heart set on it.

Great food for a great price. The lunch special comes with soup, crab Rangoon, egg roll, tempura veggies, rice and a choice of entree for $11. We also got an appetizer of spicy dumplings that had the most amazing peanut sauce. It was so much food, we didn?t need the appetizer but it was so tasty that I?m glad we got it. This will become a regular lunch place for sure!

"Review: Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street, Wichita, KSI recently dined at Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street in Wichita, KS, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese cuisine, including sushi, soups, and steak, but there were some areas that fell short.Starting with the soup, it was served warm, but I found that it lacked some flavors that I was expecting. As someone who enjoys bold and rich flavors in soups, I was a bit disappointed with the taste. The sushi, on the other hand, was good despite falling apart. The presentation was visually appealing, and the taste was enjoyable. However, I did notice that some of the sushi rolls were not tightly rolled and tended to fall apart when picked up with chopsticks, which was a bit inconvenient.Moving on to the seating, I was seated in one of the booths, but I found that the seats were worn-out and uncomfortable. The cushions were flattened, and it detracted from the overall comfort of the dining experience. One highlight of the meal was the steak my wife ordered, which was cooked medium rare. She thoroughly enjoyed it and mentioned that it was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful flavor. This was one of the highlights of our meal.Unfortunately, the service was lacking in some areas. We did not receive any refills for our drinks, which was disappointing and left us feeling a bit neglected. In terms of the ambiance, the restaurant had a casual and relaxed atmosphere with Japanese-themed decor, but the worn-out seating did affect the overall impression. In conclusion, my experience at Tokyo Japan Restaurant on West Street in Wichita, KS had some ups and downs. While the sushi was good, the soup lacked flavors, the seating was worn-out, and the service was not up to par. However, the steak was a standout dish, cooked to perfection. If improvements are made in the areas of flavor, seating, and service, it could enhance the overall dining experience at this restaurant."
