"As someone who has eaten peking duck a lot it was honestly not that great. The peking duck wrap was basically tortilla wrap (it was wayy too thick tasted super bready). The duck itself was also not that great and too soggy. The skin wasn’t crisp at all and honestly very disappointing. The set up seemed very westernized (for lack of better terms) and didn’t have traditional peking duck setup taste. The duck soup was also very mediocre(at best). Was quite disappointed with everything to be honest. Given the fact that it’s called Peking Duck House I would expect them to have better duck and for them to specialize in it although it was super disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend nor return. I've only ever been to Peking Duck House twice (I live out of state), but both times have been absolutely incredible! Ever since my first visit here back in 2016 it has ruined all other Chinese restaurants for me... in the best way possible, no one, and I mean NO ONE has come close to how amazing and incredible the food at Peking Duck House is. The Paradise Beef is the greatest bit of Chinese cuisine I have ever consumed. I only wish I had something this good in Maryland. I will certainly make this a must visit location on all future trips to NYC!

So I used to live in Mount Kisco over 30 yrs ago. Being a Brit the city was alway exciting for me. We used to do dinner in China Town, dessert in Little Italy. The Peking Duck restaurant on Mott St was my regular place to have the most incredible Peking duck. So I wanted to take my son while we were visiting the city last weekend to my old stomping ground. Unfortunately we were Midtown so I know they’re not related but we tried this new Peking duck House restaurant in Midtown. Although it was nothing, like the original restaurant, I used to go to, the food was excellent. We’ll worth the visit if in MidTown. Yes the Peking Duck was done perfectly.
