"There are a few Pig n Whistles in the area. I sat at the bar at the one near Penn Station and enjoyed the bar food and drinks immensely. This time, we tried this one due to its proximity to a concert we were going to. Large, multilevel bar/restaurant that are common in the forties midtown. A selling point are the highboy tables near an open balcony overlooking the street on the second floor, but we opted for a regular table behind those. Food was OK, but nothing special. While generally satisfied, a lot of little things detracted from my experience. My friend ordered a Guinness, but got an Octoberfest. We ordered 12 oysters but got only ten and the shucking left quite a bit of shell in them...

Great food, nice venue next to times square! The crab cake for starters was lovely followed by the signature burger. Very delicious

An absolutely awesome time. WOWZA actually!!! I put in a request to have a very dear, close friend and I greeted a certain way both arriving and leaving. Those few, simple spoken words by the staff took her by complete surprise... and meant so much that she was beaming. To top it off during dinner, a song very close to her heart just happened to play on the radio. Let's just say the whole experience was truly beautiful and magical, like her.
