"The staff was excellent, the presentation was very good, wine server and selection was wonderful. The menu was the most disappointing. Very limited for a French American restaurant. The two selections were a 3 course and a 5 course. The 2 choices were identically the same with the exception of the 5 course had one additional item, greens and grains. Not sure how they came up with 3 when it should have been 4 or 5. Sea urchins, Ahi tuna, smoked trout in a broth (so,so), Duck. No Hors D'euvres, escargot, beef,chicken , pork, sauces. We chose the 5 course and my wife may have taken two bites. The 5 course was $145 each, we ordered a bottle of wine, excellent, for $153 and one additional glass. The bill came to $614 and I added a 20 gratuity. The next morning I realized the bill should have been in the $445 $460 range. Not sure if the gratuity was included for serving two people, if so the server should have informed me."

"Where do I start? Let's just start going into the door; the smell of mouth irrigation bbq meets you as soon as the doors open. 2. The welcome of the staff is welcoming. You really want to be there. 3. Service is fast and efficient the dining room is clean. 4. The food is delicious. Each of us (family of 7) ordered items was delicate, juicy and extremely tasty. It was like cutting through softened butter. The sides were as delicious as the main dish. If we only lived closer... dang....... another trip only for this bbq is in the plans. If we had to judge this from other bbq places; Famous Dave’s and Big Bubbas are no longer in the top. About a new “Sheriff is in town. ‘"

"Happily surprised to find this gem. This is absolutely a place to visit if you find yourself in the outskirts of Yosemite. My family and I decided to stay a few days outside of the busy Valley crowds and opted for Oakhurst, CA. A small mountain town with big city feel when it comes to food options. You have everything from Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, smoked BBQ Food, including local spots like South Gate Brewing company!!! All staff members are diamonds. From the host to our waiter who was literally running the dining area all by himself! quick side note, our food was delayed more than usual which was no fault of our waiter but rather short staff which is not unusual in these Covid 19 times. He did something I don't often see, he made no excuses or blamed the kitchen. He continued giving us great customer service. That's a true champion in my book. The beer is amazing. So amazing I took 8 24oz cans the night before we left town... only trouble was we couldn't find a cooler to bring it back in. I made it work though. Thank you Vons for carrying cooler bags. Can't wait to have my friends try the Old Town Pecan Brown and The Blonde! Keep up the good job and be sure to stop by and say hello to all the staff."

"Specializes in local Nordic foods at a reasonable price. This place is my favorite. Order over the phone and get it in 15 minutes, it is very fast! Your food is also very consistent in quality. I order the same dish (Kung Pao chicken on rice) every time and it tastes as good as the first time. Do not leave the outside or the name you hesitate, the food is delicious. It also seems to be a local favorite. I'm sad that it took me so long to check how I live so close!"
