"We stopped here on a recommendation. Waitress wasn't especially friendly (it was obvious we were not from the neighborhood) but the breakfast was great. I had two eggs over hard, Italian toast, local sausage, and home fries. The toast was amazing buttery and perfectly crispy. Sausage and eggs were great too. Home fries were nothing too special but the ketchup solved that."

If you are drunk or hungover at 10:00am, this is the place for you! Unfortunately, we were neither, and the greasy food was just too much for a Saturday morning. I ordered the home fries and blueberry pancakes, and my partner ordered a meat plate with hash. I will give the chef credit with the pancake…it wasn’t bad. The rest was dripping in oil.

Little Traver/restaurant in the middle of a working class neighborhood. There were 6 of us and they pulled tables together like it was no inconvenience at all. Food was fabulous, but our waiter/bartender, Galden, was more than efficient, remembering all 6 orders w/o writing them down. Excellent **** Mary’s and food. Worth the trip off the beaten Portland path!!
