"The staff is great, but the food is... good the Hotel Essen. I went to town for dinner, but because of the lack of parking I decided to come back and eat at the hotel restaurant. I actually ate twice, good, bad. the service is fine, the staff is friendly. I had the crab meat that had very little crabs in it. It was more artichoke than anything else. The crab cakes were really good. They had like a horseradish sauce on it, which was the perfect compliment. I didn't like the roasted Brussels sprouts because it was overcooked. Great service and management, nice selection of meals and Geeat drinks and food specialties. Very good food and atmosphere, highly recommended if you are looking for a nice restaurant and a bar in Bethesda. Karen and Armando are great!!
