"Sinodino's is such a disappointment. Especially on Mother's day. I will never eat here and it is sad because we have had miles stone Birthday parties there before and had Mother Day there last year. Our reservations there at 5:00. The hostess gave us the menu and the bus boy gave us water. We sat there waiting for a waiter to come get our drink order. No one ever came. Finally after for 30 mins., my brother got up 3 times to get a waiter. The place wasn't too busy (for Mother's day) there were a lot of tables empty. But there were about 6 tables with 8 or more people. Finally after the 3rd time my bother walked up to ask for a waiter to come. It now 5:45…the waiter comes and ask for our ord...

We love this restaurant! We have been coming here for years. We rarely ever have a problem getting a table. The steaks are always cooked to perfection, and the prices are reasonable. The service is wonderful, and the waitstaff are always attentive. I've come for special occasions, and casual dining, as the restaurant is appropriate for either. And for really casual dining, the separate bar area has it's own delicious menu. Would definitely recommend!

Sadly, Sinodino's is under new ownership. We have gone here since it opened, and to Beck's and the Farmhouse years before that. We have come to expect great food and good, reliable service at this restaurant. Yet with new owners, they have apparently let go of all of their staff, as the servers seemed to have no clue about etiquette and the cooks had no idea what medium well and rare meant. We got a rare steak that looked medium well, and a medium well steak that was definitely well. With steak being their supposed specialty, this was beyond disappointing. Our server came once every 30 minutes, and we didn't even bother considering dessert for Mother's Day, as our dinner had already taken 2...

"Very disappointed in our Banh Mis. We ordered the chasu Banh mi which they advertise to be Japanese style but it tasted like the meat in bo kho (beef stew). The meat was tender but the overall sandwich was very dry. We also ordered the grilled beef Banh mi which didn 't taste like bo nuong but more of a Vietnamese beef jerky (Viets will know this reference). Again the taste of the meat wasn 't bad but the sandwich was very dry. Neither of the sandwiches use pate or Mayo but instead use a house special sauce but I didn 't taste or see any sauce in the sandwich. I am wondering if they only use pate and Mayo for their classic Banh mi. However a Banh mi missing these ingredients make it taste very lackluster and dry. In addition the bread tasted chewy and not fresh. And the pickled veggies were not very pickled the carrots taste like regular carrots. For $9.95 a sandwich the quality and taste is not there or justified."

"I just came home from Vons, I command to assume full boneless cause that 's what the boy has taken for 2 people suggested. I was asked if it was my first time and I said yes. I told him I ordered dinner for two. That's all I have chicken and rough Coleslaw and I don't know what the pink stuff is. I was expecting Pommes and Sauce with my order. Terrible place to eat yuk and chicken is all dry"

"Mioki, from now on for me, shall be called Mi roll ki. Their rolls are beautiful, delicious, and filling. Came here for dinner on a weeknight and the service was phenomenal! Despite the crowds, we were able to get seated rather quickly (maybe around 5 minutes) we may have gotten lucky with the timing as the first wave was just wrapping up. Upon getting our seats, we were offered water with ice or no ice, lemon or no lemon. It was a nice touch to have that option as a patron. We knew we were going to get some rolls to share but were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dish of tempera green beans shortly after we were seated. The green beans tasted fresh and had a nice crisp to it but not overly breaded. The dipping sauce to me wasn't necessary but did had a bit of flavor to the bite. Great way to get in your vegetables for the meal! Upon checking in on Yelp, we also received and used the check in offer for an appetizer size of gyoza. These came out piping hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. It paired well with the dipping sauce. For rolls, we ordered the Cherry Blossom roll as it's our favorite and Mioki does an amazing job with it. Meaty bites and constructed aesthetically to make your mouth water and yummy grumbling. We also ordered the New Alaska roll, which was a new flavor profile for us. It is packed with smoked salmon and fresh salmon topped with a small slice of lemon. It was very tasty! To round off, we also got a TSY (short for Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail) roll and it had five huge pieces. Each piece was loaded with fish and had a lot of substance with each bite. It's in the pricier end for the number of pieces you get but due to each piece's massive size, it seems fair. And to end our service, we were served a pineapple slice nicely cut into small bite sized morsels we could pick out with toothpicks. Healthy and delicious dessert! The rolls are consistently the best off their menu and with the amazing service exhibited this most recent visit, they're definitely among the top of my sushi list in this area!"
