"Visiting the area for the 1st time and needed a great seafood spot. Bumped into a local in Nordstrom’s and this place was highly recommended. The customer service food were an A+, the general manager was knowledgeable with the menu and assisted well with helping to pick choices as well as clean the dining area and serve food. The lobby was clean remained clean even after customers left tables. The meal was delicious I had the lightly battered shrimp, mac cheese, rice and red beans, sweet cornbread sweet tea. Great portions and I was stuffed had to take the rest home. I rate this experience 10/10 Parking: Located a shopping plaza and parking was available right in front of the door"

Amazing shrimp best I have had outside of osteins in st Augustine. Now, let's get to the corn bread. This could have only been made with the soft hands of an angel. I feel blessed to have tried this and will spread the good word in my travels

I normally eat at the location in Altamonte springs in James town but since there closing I had to travel to Kirkman and I absolutely don’t mind it since the food is a 10/10 and worth the trip ahead !!! Kid-friendliness: Super friendly as a family owned business

When I went to Stonington's Fried Shrimp, the food was not horrible, but just seemed rather blah and nothing special. I always enjoy the full meals at Captain D's which are usually less expensive, but taste much better. Stonington's is counter service only. Because their food is rather blah, I do not plan to return.
