"Suzu is always busy, usually a wait out the door, but respectfully worth it and great noodle soup flavors! We were in JT window shopping and enjoying the hustle and bustle of once again a thriving shopping center. Noodle soup was on our agenda and we've visited a majority of the usual haunts in the mall...Suzu appeared to be a new noodle on the block! Firstly service was impeccable. The two servers worked together in tandem making sure all the tables, including the outside ones were managed and taken care of. We ordered some starters, 4 noodle soups, and one bento box togo. This is restaurant for sure doesn’t know what tsukemen is. The broth was watered down, unlike the rich tsukemen broth, it was watery than ramen. And the noodles was standard ramen noodles, not the chewy tsukemen noodles. And the spicy miso tasted more like tomato sauce. To top it off they just piled on a bunch of toppings that just didn't belong in tsukemen.

You want noodles? They got noodles. They will seat you, take your order and feed you quickly. The speed to tastiness factor is what gives this a 5 in my opinion. There are places in Japantown that may serve slightly better noodle soup, but the margin is thin and you will be served three times as fast. Very good price point as well. Casual vibe, which I happen to like.Kid-friendliness: Casual vibe, inside and outside seating, excellent choice if you have loud or squirmy little ones.
