"This place is not a blast from the past, it is more like a nostalgic twister here for a whisper. Its displays are filled with the classic baked goods of yesteryears that make me want to sample many from classic and timeless chocolate cupcakes and fudge slices to Snickerdoodles and Strawberry upside down cakes. Nothing here is modern do not expect to taste a deconstructed pistachio Angel cake with boysenberry bacon frosting, look for that or the kin at a different spot. I had three chocolate Macarons and they were a true delight! The chocolate that covered parts of the cookie was thick and tasted it like a proper coat of chocolate. The chocolate had not melted it remained wonderfully intact,...

This place is dangerous! Sweet cravings were satisfied. If you have a sweet tooth, you can't go wrong here. Cinnamon rolls are a favorite. Pieces of cake and brownies are huge.

Ambiance: this corner bakery store has over thirty years history in the area, and it's old fashioned from the decorations to the style of cakes they serve Service: super friendly staff, patient with questions and provided useful suggestions Food: variety choices of cakes and most are made fresh daily Walnut Cinnamon Roll optional to add icing, warm and sweet, the signature choice here, recommend Price: cash only, huge pieces, and each slice of cake cost around $7

Desserts are absolutely amazing! Huge but... They do not accept card, only cash and of course they have an atm that charges a fee to withdraw cash. Disappointing tbh and you can tell the workers explaining that they do not accept card are tired of having the same conversation over and over with customers. They said the owner does the books old school. Made the whole interaction standoffish and started to ask the next customer in line what they wanted before I realized that luckily, I had some cash on me because I never do! This is preventing your business from thriving! It's 2024, get a clover please and thank you! Chocolate coconut macaroon was delicious and moist ! Location is small but ha...

"We went here for a friends 39th birthday party extravaganza! When we arrived, we were warmly greeted at the door, but informed that there weren't any tables. The team quickly scrambled like a squadron out of top gun and offered to put together a large enough table to accommodate our group in front of the restaurant. The serving team was attentive and just the right amount of friendly to keep our drinks topped off throughout the Patty's experience. Speaking of the experience, let's talk about the food. Our first course included the shrimp cocktail, ceviche, and calamari. The shrimp cocktail was well presented and had some notable flavors. The presentation of the ceviche was great, and had flavors reminiscent of water and celery sans lemon. The calamari had the texture of a rubber band that was coated in soggy and slippery breadcrumbs. All three apps easily get a 10/10. Moving on to the main course, I cannot speak for others, but I ordered the Tomahawk (medium rare of course with a side of creamed corn and french fries. The french fries were crispy and quite delicious, they could be a meal in their own right! The creamed corn smelled slightly of body odor and had sweet, yet savory undertones. The only better creamed corn I have tasted came from Albertsons in a can. The presentation of the Tomahawk was exquisite. Slicing into the massive chunk of meat took some effort as tendons and fat clogged up the serrations of the knife faster than my arteries. The texture defied logic, it was in a superposition of wet and dry. This is something I have never experienced in all of my life on this planet. It was incredibly bland, but the sauces... man the sauces. All three sauces had aggressive flavors that reminded me of A-1 mixed with teriyaki sauce. The differentiator was a sprinkle of parsley or a dash of pepper. During our meal out on the sidewalk, we were greeted by a traveler that was seeking donations to fuel his dreams. Instead, I offered to fuel his belly by suggesting that he try some of my Tomahawk. He politely declined and continued his journey into the night. If I was to give the main course a grade, it would be A Overall Patty really built something special here. This is a hidden gem that I will reserve for only the bestest of occasions. In closing, I would give this place ONE MILLION STARS if that was an option. PS: To the birthday boy, we love you so much and we really wanted to say thank you for making this a night to be remembered."
