How does an Authentic Mexican Cuisine use American mozzarella cheese and get away with it?I placed an order for tostadas, tacos, and a burrito for my family. When I asked for cheese they said sure. I asked the order taker what kind of Mexican cheese do you have, she answered we don’t have Mexican cheese. Plain American Mozzarella is what we use. I asked no Mexican cheeses? The order taker said we don’t have any types of Mexican cheeses.You can understand why I would be confused and upset right? What Authentic Mexican taco or restaurant offers American cheeses? A bit overpriced for what you get. My family ordered the Carne Asada taco combo, the chicken tamale combo, chips and guac, and a single barbacoa taco.The carne asada tacos were quite dry and not very flavorful. The tamales were okay but nothing special. The guac was really delicious actually but the bag of chips they gave us was half empty and not enough to eat the guac with (it's usually the opposite so this was really strange to me). The barbacoa taco was very good and flavorful, I wish I had ordered a barbacoa taco combo instead of the carne asada combo.Overall it's just okay.
