I received disgusting non deveined shrimp smothered in the saltiest, flavorless, thick corn starch slop, and a side of old stale “fried” rice. The peas in it were hard, dry and chalky like they hadn’t been cooked or were old. My partner got sweet sour shrimp, also disgusting inside once we checked if they had been deveined. The food here is really good. Sometimes the salt levels seems to vary (by chef, perhaps , but overall always pleasing to eat. The stand out dishes are the Cheng-du dishes (cheng-du chicken, cumin fish and cumin chicken, and chicken with scallions are the best on the menu . The prices have increased 30% over the past couple of years (way beyond inflation . I am hoping they plateau, as it is affecting how often we order.
