"First time dining at The Refinery and ordered the grilled snapper served on a bed of lentils and a cabbage salad. I love the fact they use fresh ingredients and have to say, the meal itself was delicious. On the downside, the kitchen seemed to be backlogged, they forgot the appetizer and we didn't get our dessert in time because we had to rush to a show. The brownies showed up at the last minute and I did find that strange since the brownies were cold (obviously they came out of the fridge) and it would have taken a whole 30 seconds to throw those bad boys on a plate and squirt some caramel sauce on it. Very special place. We had the rabbit kafta and garlic bread small plates. Then I had the fresh fish, mutton snapper in pea puree with cabbage. Last the bread pudding made with donuts. Amazing! The drinks were ok. We had a view if the kitchen. Such a special occasion. Recommend! The menu changes several times a week, so go soon.

We really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was ridiculously good. We had the falafel appetizer, grass-fed beef burger, and the fried chicken with collard greens and cornbread. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. Parking was limited, but others parked in no parking zones. Will return next time I'm in town.

I ABSOLUTELY love this restaurant. My husband, my friend, and I made reservations for dinner during Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. I had the blistered green beans, fried heirloom eggplant, and chocolate pound cake. All of it was delicious...Beyond delicious. The service was great as well. The dining area has a cozy feel to it but the tables are not too close to each other. I tasted my husband's house burger and the meat melted in my mouth. He upgrade the beef to grass fed beef.
