"This was my first time at the J Bar and I was eager to try the Sunday special, which was grilled cheese and chili. However, the chili was listed as chipotle and I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I was hesitant to order it. The bartender, Judy, overheard my concerns and kindly brought me a sample of the chili to try before making my decision. I ended up loving it and ordered the meal, which was absolutely delicious! Judy provided exceptional service and I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Daniel. I was very impressed and will definitely be returning to the J Bar in the future!"

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our server Nyana was excellent, and Daniel was the most welcoming and courteous person we encountered. The drinks were both enjoyable and tasty. We look forward to returning soon!

My wife and I were on the way to Iowa State and were holding for the night. Our hotel front desk recommended the J-Bar and gave us drinking vouchers. They were the best Cheeseburgers we had for years! Perfectly cooked burgers and homemade pommes. Go! I also had buffalo wings and they were fantastic! I want to make every excuse I can stop in Davenport. If I look at the menu, there's nothing I wouldn't like to try.
