"This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. My family went to celebrate my grandma's 82nd birthday. We made reservations and asked if we would be able to have the cake stored in the refrigerator and they said it's no problem. When we arrived we were denied by the host and the manager Ashley came over and said that she cannot allow outside food in the restaurant. We complied because it wasn't a big enough deal on a special occasion so while we waited well over 45 minutes for our food to arrive we started singing happy birthday. I’m not sure if the owners read recent reviews or the last few people just were there on bad days, but we had a great experience.We got the crab cake Benedict, which had plenty of crab. It was a bit salty for us, but we also don’t use too much salt, so others may love that.We also got the mushroom Reuben, which was so good that I forgot to take a pic before eating half.The service was great and quick. It’s not cheap, but seems on par for DC prices

Little beast has amazing food. The chef knows what he's doing! However the service is just HORRIBLE ! They have a bunch of KIDS running this place! On their phones and in little clusters in the back by the bar, as if we were back in high school. IF YOU DON'T like the service industry just DON'T come to work . Your vibe does make a difference in a customers experience. The manager at this location does not care about the customer service. His/her leadership needs A LOT of work it always starts from the top! Bathrooms were DISGUSTING! No paper towels. Lower your expectations when visiting this location when dinning in.

Terrible food. Nutritious food does not need to be expensive for poorly prepared cheap ingredients. The crab cake, priced at $25, was made up of crab flavored mush with 2 microscopic lumps of white crab meat. The shrimps in the shrimp salad and taco were over cooked and rubbery. The other dishes were assembled without flavor. I will get much better food from the salad bars at Wholefood or Fresh nearby at a fraction of the cost. Perhaps, it is a nice place for you to rent a resting space with some complimentary greens that were threw together on a big plate. After spending $30 a person on an appetizer size main dish, we needed to get a slice of pizza next door.
