"Visited for lunch last autumn and decided to stay. So we stayed Aug 2017 Great check in. It offers rooms with a balcony. Mini splits for warmth/ AC. Relax. Architecture can itself be a study. Great dinner at the restaurant. Continental breakfast on real cups saucepans. No plastic or paper. Great experience, will return to enjoy Sheridan and Lexington, VA again."

What a charming historic Inn right in the heart of Lexington, right across Washington and Lee, Virginia Military Insitute. Nicely renovated and equipped with a wonderful staff. The restaurant is excellent.

My husband and I were in the Inn who went through the way to our honeymoon. We did not eat there, but they chose a wonderful bottle of wine for us and we enjoyed it on the balcony of our room. We can't wait to go back at some point!
