"We love visiting our daughter's family in Croton and this restaurant is always a favorite spot. The food and service are excellent. However, during our last visit on Sunday, I ordered the corned beef Reuben sandwich and it was delicious. I asked for mustard, which I believe is a classic condiment for corned beef. To my surprise, I was charged an additional $0.75 for the mustard. When I questioned this charge, I was informed that there is a fee for all dressings. I found this practice to be ridiculous. Due to this unexpected extra charge and a fee for using my credit card, we will be looking for another restaurant to dine at in the future."

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a wonderful outdoor seating area located behind the tavern. Our server was excellent - she was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the hamburger, which was fantastic, but the Nachos were just okay as the chips were too thin. The Caesar salad with chicken was good as well.

It is not recommended to visit this restaurant on a busy night. The lack of staff and inexperienced employees can lead to issues. While the food here is usually good, the outdoor seating is enjoyable, and they serve a delicious pint of Guinness, I had a negative experience when my waiter brought me my food with his thumbs touching it. I will not be returning for a while.

Have been going here on and off for years now. LOVE IT! Food is always fresh and delicious and service always top notch. Their regular hamburgers are delicious but they absolutely have the BEST turkey burgers hands down! Had Apple Cheddar one last weekand it was delish. When the weather is nice there is plenty of outside seating and inside is very cozy. The place is veryfamily friendly too. Highly recommend it!
