"Great sandwich, bread was fresh and damp. Service was fast and my food came out quickly. You also have chocolate shoppe ice cream so that is a plus! Many coffee options, though I didn't try. The prices were expected for a scenic small sandwich shop $7 for chips and sandwich."

"We have 48 wings for the table: Parmesan: 5/5 Buffalo: 3/5 a little weak. In my opinion, they should be wet and orange Buffalo hot: 4/5. This is what the Buffalo should be regular. Not very sharp. Cajun: 3/5. Not many strong Cajun flavors get here. I like my grandma from New Orleans this recipe from its 100 years old Bourbon glaze: 4/5 Thai chili: 3/5 weak to taste The frits need salt seasoned. The ranch and the blue cheese were top notch!!!"

"The custard, unfortunately, tasted more like plain eggs on a crust. We thought they might have made a mistake and forgotten to add sugar because it was so bland. I took just one bite and decided to push my plate away. When our waitress returned, she didn’t ask about the issue; instead, she started clearing the plates. I then inquired if the custard was normally unsweetened, to which she interrupted me and said, "Yep! That’s how it’s supposed to taste." That interaction really changed our impression of the place. Although we had initially intended to return, we ended up exploring other dining options instead. A pie, by its very nature, should be sweet. If it contains eggs and isn’t sweet, it’s essentially a quiche, not a pie, which highlights a significant difference between the two. If you decide to visit, I recommend steering clear of the pies. They may look appealing, but unfortunately, they taste quite unappetizing."

"Warning Health Risk....saw the great reviews online and was excited to try it as we were traveling back from spending a day hiking. Arrived and the first thing we ran into was a large private gathering maybe a wedding reception? No one wearing masks as they hung out at the entrance or as they walk between the banquet room and the restaurant bar. We picked a table as far from the bar as possible to avoid that situation. Then the waitress comes to the table with menus and has no mask....I ask her aren't you required to wear a mask in Sparta and she said no, then I asked her if this was wisconsin, which she confirmed.. we quickly look around and notice not one employee is wearing a mask including the bartender who is interacting with those at the bar we walked out.... if they don't care enough about the guests visiting them to try and ensure a healthy experience i have no reason to trust their food. You wear a mask to protect others.. State mandates are in place for a reason."
