"Really wanted to like this place but it was a no from jump. After being seated for 15-20 minutes with no service we finally flagged the host down to get a waitress to take our order. Waited another 5 minutes for the waitress to come, we ordered bottomless mimosas. The mimosas took so long to come out that I wouldn 't even call them bottomless. Definitely didn 't get our money 's worth. The food wasn 't brought out at the same time and we were trying to wait to eat together so our food was cold. It took an additional 25 minutes for them to bring out the last plate. The food was decent to good. It coulda been seasoned better. Also the music was way too loud had to yell at my friends to talk t...

New friendly bar in the neighborhood. Good food, nice atmosphere, nice, nice owners. Nice soft jazz and soft lighting. Try the Thai wings. Yummy with a $5 margarita. Welcome.

TERRIBLE! I rsvp for 3pm for the R B brunch on Saturday. A lady in the front said we have to find the guy with the vest on to be seated. Why do we have have find the seater? Noone greeted us. We walked in a skinny black guy said he wasn't sure if he had space. He eventually took up upstairs. We asked a female waitress if we can sit downstairs at the bar which was completely empty. She said Noone can eat there. We ordered food and waited 45 mins. No food came out so we left. The only thing good was the DJ. I don't think they even put in the order.

"We were there celebrating two birthdays. Our server Faith was wonderful. She was attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a table of 6 and ordered quite a bit of food, some of which was great and others lackluster. The bao buns were great and the small calamari salad was huge and those who had it said delicious. The spareribs were good as well as the edamame dumplings, although the way those were served made it hard to fully enjoy. Each dumpling should be on a individual type spoon so you can enjoy the soup part as well as the dumpling. The way they were served in one large bowl with only one spoon made it so the soup part is left at the bottom. I did request extra spoons from the expediter but they never came. The worst part of our appetizer course was somehow an item was switched to another in the computer and served to us. It had shellfish in it and that wasn’t known when someone at our table who doesn’t eat shellfish ate it. The sashimi was good but the tuna tartare thing was really bad. The entrees we had were the duck, which I was told was delicious, the miso cod, which was fishy, the whole fish which was tasteless, the lobster fried rice, which was okay but lacking flavor. The best dish was the black pepper beef, it was delicious and elegantly served. We had all the sides and all were quite good especially the eggplant and the wasabi mashed potatoes. It was a nice evening but it felt a little stale for a Starr restaurant."
