"Our server Shamil was the saving grace of this location. He was better than most servers in midtown and did his best to accommodate us. However, the restaurant itself is giving mixed signals on what they’re trying to provide as far as experience goes. The food was tasty, elevated, and we had no complaints. At the time we came in, while there were over a dozen people, only four others were customers. All of the staff was crowded around where we were sitting, having several loud intermingling conversations and one of their younger children was crawling on the floor underneath the barstools. Driving through town, decided to give this place a chance. I’m so glad we did. Food was excellent! Atmosphere was fun, service was great, pricing was good as well. We've been dreaming about the cheese grits since stumbling onto this gem about 3 months ago. Finally made it back yesterday and arrived just before opening to join the long line of people waiting. We got a table and were prepared for a wait while the kitchen caught up with the hungry crowd. We were patient but at some point Destiny walked by the table and was surprised that we hadn't been served. She hustled the kitchen and we were soon enjoying Eggs Benedict, Monte Christo and those amazing creamy, cheesy grits! I couldn't wait and took a bite before I remembered to take a photo.
