"Wife and I went Friday evening. Plenty of parking available with maybe the best view in Hiawassee. No kidding!! The view was so incredible a few years ago that I made it my Screensaver...and it still gets comments. That view made me want to live here so we retired to the mountains because of the view out the front window of HWBBQ CH. True story. The restaurant is spacious with outside tables that are worth waiting for on a warm day. Love Local great views, great food, great service. I've got the Welsplatte and the Brisket. Both were delish. Kid friendly. Would definitely go back!

Excellent BBO pig plate! The hardest decision was to get which pages. All right, but my favorite side was potato salad. Mac cheese was the best of the best!

The BBQ chicken was melt in your mouth tender. I had red skin potato salad and macaroni and cheese for my two sides and it was more than I could eat. There's a great view of Lake Chatuge from the patio and the front row of booths inside the restaurant.The wait staff was very friendly.
