"We came to Baton Rouge for my cousin’s wedding found this place. They were only open until 5 p.m. so we missed out on Saturday but we more than made up for it on Sunday. The food was so good we could have eaten there everyday while we were in town! The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, great customer service, excellent food. We tried a little bit of everything…fried cauliflower, yams, collard greens, jambalaya, mashed potatoes, dirty rice, chili beans, mac cheese, green smoothie, mango … – show"

The atmosphere was very welcoming. Taylor, sorry if I have her name wrong. She was so helpful. I ordered dirty rice, yams and collard greens. Yumm yumm yumm!! The yams tasted so good!! Rice was great too. Im new to “vegan” and although the rice wasn’t zatarains … it was good and fulfilling. They have sea moss, and deserts too. The mango seamoss drink is delicious. I was expecting more gluten free choices…. however only a select few was on the menu. I recommend!

"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."
